Description

Gentle age management for acne-prone skin that still wants to glow.

Anti-aging should not come at the cost of breakouts.

Luminosity Serum is a creamy retinoid-support serum designed to improve the look of texture, uneven tone, and early signs of aging while staying mindful of reactive, breakout-prone skin.

With a gentler retinoid approach plus brightening and hydrating support, it helps skin look smoother, clearer, and more refined over time.

Who it’s for
Acne-prone, uneven, dull, or aging skin. Ideal for anyone who wants retinoid support without jumping into a harsher formula.

Key benefits

  • Helps smooth the look of texture and fine lines
  • Supports a more even-looking tone
  • Helps improve the appearance of dullness and post-breakout marks
  • Offers acne-safe age-management support
  • Creamy texture makes it more approachable for reactive skin

How To Use

Apply at night after cleansing, toning and hydrating. Mix a pea size amount in with your Ogham moisturizer 1-2 nights per week and increase as tolerated.

Claudia’s note

This is for the client who wants anti-aging support but needs a gentler entry point into retinoids. It gives you a more supportive path without abandoning results.

Your questions answered

We know you're nervous. Here's the truth.

These are the questions we hear most from women with reactive skin. Honest answers only.

Will this break me out?

Luminosity is non-comedogenic, but any retinoid can stir things up in the first few weeks as skin turnover speeds up. Start one or two nights a week buffered with moisturizer and build slowly, and the results won't come with a breakout toll.

My skin reacts to everything. Is this safe?

Reactive skin can use retinoids, it just can't rush them. Luminosity uses retinyl propionate, one of the gentlest retinoid forms, in a creamy, deeply hydrating base. Stabilize your barrier with the Barrier Reboot routine first, then introduce it low and slow.

My skin can't decide, dry one week and breaking out the next. Will this work?

Skin like that is dehydrated, so handle hydration first. A retinoid on dehydrated skin feeds the irritation cycle, but on hydrated skin it works beautifully. Always pair it with Supercharged and one of the Ogham moisturizers.

How is this anti-aging?

Retinoids are the gold standard for supporting the look of smoother texture, more even tone, and firmer skin. Two firming peptides, niacinamide, and kojic acid back it up and help fade the look of dark spots while your skin adjusts.

How long until I see results?

Retinoids are the definition of the 8 to 12 week timeline, and anyone promising results in two weeks is promising irritation. Wearing an acne-safe SPF every morning is non-negotiable while using a retinoid, so run your current sunscreen through an acne-safe ingredient checker to make sure it makes the cut.

Do I need the full routine or can I start with just this?

Please don't start here. Luminosity belongs in an established routine, so take the quiz to see whether your skin is ready now.
